Setting up your Twitter account in 7 easy steps

Hopefully these screenshots help you through the process of signing for Twitter, linking your mobile phone to your Twitter account, and signing up to receive SMS alerts for our WaukeeNMS account.

Step 1: Click the "Sign up now" button.

Step 2: Type in your information.

Step 3: Ignore the "Find sources that interest you" page.

Step 4: Instead, go to your address bar and type in http://twitter.com/WaukeeNMS

Step 5: Follow @WaukeeNMS

Steps 6.1-6.4: Connect your mobile phone to Twitter.

1. Text Start to 40404.
2. Twitter will text you back and ask for your user name. Reply to that message with only your user name. If you have a signature on your text messages, delete it.
3. Twitter will again text you back and ask for your password. Reply with your password and remember that it is case sensitive.
4. Twitter will text you back saying you are good to go.

Step 7: Reload the @WaukeeNMS Twitter page. Be sure you reload the page otherwise the cell phone icon will not be there.
